Prayer Of Comfort For The Grieving

Lord Jesus, I know that You are close to those that are broken-hearted and grieving in their soul and that Yous rescue those that are crushed in spirit. Draw near to Your many children who are facing times of sadness and loss, and draw each one ever closer into Your precious artillery of love and support.

Thanks that You are wonderfully expert to all who wait for Yous and seek You, and I pray that those of my brothers and sisters in Christ who, for whatever reason, are facing times of grief and hardship in their lives, that in Your grace and mercy You lot would draw very close to each ane and gently behave them on Your shoulders, every bit a Shepherd carries a niggling lamb that has been torn by the briars.

Be close to all that are grieving today I pray, and flood their souls with hope, knowing that underneath are Your everlasting arms.

Give me a heart that is sensitive to those that are grieving, the wisdom to know when to speak words of comfort or when to keep silent. Grief Due To Loss Of A Loved One

Loving Father, I am finding it so hard to even get upwardly out of bed to start the day, knowing that I accept to face it alone and without the one I beloved and so dearly. I know that without Your grace and sufficiency I could never go through the day, but I thank You that You have promised to be with me and to provide me with Your force for today equally well as bright hope for tomorrow.

I can't imagine tomorrow being annihilation but a day filled with pain, equally I exercise not have my loved one beside me, simply I ask that in Your grace You will give me the force to get through today, pace by pace, knowing that Y'all are at that place to carry me, even when my heart seems to fail from the grief and pain that I am going through.

Thank You. that Y'all have promised to carry our pain and thank You that Your grace is sufficient for every eventuality in our lives. Give me the strength to cope with the loneliness I feel and help me to move forward in my life-plans, knowing that You are with me, to back up and strengthen.

Give me hope for tomorrow, for my hope and my trust is in Yous, Lord. Hold me close I pray, and thank you for always being with me and the great comfort that I have in knowing You, as my own dear Saviour and friend.

Prayer For Loss And Deep Grief

O God, I come up to You lot filled with hurt and sadness and even acrimony because of my great loss. Lord, I know that You have a program for each of our lives, but I am in such hurting and grief that information technology is hard to focus on the truth that You practise care and that You have had to face deep grief and loss too. Lord, my hurt and pain runs deep and I experience that my centre is breaking. I ask you to touch my hurting heart.

I know, Lord, that You are the God of condolement and that You lot take been with me every step of the mode. I inquire You to draw ever closer to me at this time for I experience that my whole world has been shattered.

Prayer Of Support To Those Overwhelmed

Loving Lord and Heavenly king, I desire to lift up some dear friends of mine that are going through much grief at the moment and are finding it and then hard to come to terms with all that has taken place in the last few days.

I humbly ask that Y'all would come to them and provide the comfort they demand to come up to terms with all that has happened. Give them the forcefulness to confront the reality that things will never exist every bit they were.

Lord, I know that their grief seems to be overwhelming them and I am hurting for them, and do non know what to exercise to help – and so I am coming to You to in prayer, to ask that Yous will meet each of them at their point of need and help them to turn to You at this sorry time.

The Death Of A Laic

Loving Lord, I am filled with grief and sadness at the loss of my precious loved one, and yet that hurting is tinged with gold, knowing that they trusted you as their Saviour and that they are now in Your presence.

I know that I am going to miss this precious one, who has been my strength and my joy for so long, and thank Yous for the wonderful times nosotros had together.

Often Lord, I wait my dear one to just be there, or walk through the door - and and then I retrieve that they have gone home to exist with You lot. At times this is quite hard and yet I know that I practice not have to grieve as those that have not promise in Jesus, just rejoice knowing that the solar day is coming when we volition exist together with You and You will wipe away all tears from our optics. Only at the moment Lord, my loss is similar an open wound and I pray that You volition heal my brokenness and the loneliness I feel. Draw me ever closer into Your arms of honey, my Lord and my God.
